As I remember, the same study which says only 1.5% of Brits are homosexual, quotes statistics that the same poll showed a much higher percentage, over 10% of Americans who claimed to be homosexual. Your article does not address that.

No Christian or Catholic should need any scientist to tell them there is no homosexual gene. God made humans in His own image and told them to be fruitful and multiply. Homosexuals & their secular humanist supporters invented the so-called gay gene to try to convince us that they can't help being the way they are.

There can be nothing "normal" about it. How can there be since if we all became homosexuals, the human race would die out in a couple of generations or less. I think we need to realize that the Rockefellers were mad at Aaron Russo for not letting them recruit him. Nothing they say can be taken at face value. If he was told that feminism was invented by them to destablize the family, they had an agenda to mess with his mind for rejecting them.

Powerful interests hijacked and co-opted a grass-roots movement to erase some substantial inequalities that were hampering women. Equal rights for women (such as equal pay for equal work, access to education and medical care for themselves and their children) should not be equated with attempts to manipulate women, through eugenics campaigns to encourage fertile women to sterilize themselves or messages to be promiscuous, or other such nonsense that is inaccurately labeled as feminism.

The people were coming up with some very sensible ways to help women and this is precisely what the rich and powerful did not want. They do not want us to identify and solve problems in ways that assist us.

Makow is indeed a misogynist but not in the classical sense of obvious, outright hatred and abuse of women. It's a much more subtle and sneaky form of looking down on women making disparaging remarks here and there, while maintaining an upbeat writing style that pretends to seek the "truth" and belies this hidden agenda. He critizes women for things like wearing makeup, wearing blue jeans and working outside the home. According to Makow, if I wear makeup, I'm a "prostitute." If I wear jeans, I'm "gender confused" , if I work outside the home to supplement my families' income "I'm a femisist", "if I'm over 35, I'm no longer attractive", etc. etc. I wrote to him recently when he did an article on women and makeup with a very clear and concise rebuttal that a little makeup is feminine and attractive and most women look best that way. And older women (70 +) need a little color on their faces, lipstick at least, so that they don't look exactly like old men! Of course he ignored my response to his false reasoning that women should go barefaced at all times and all ages. And he sprinkles many of his articles with other little slurs and cuts toward the opposite sex and Christians (another of his favorite scapegoats), (as if he is somehow perfect!NOT). And, as a Christian (i.e. sincere follower of Jesus Christ/the Word of God) I can tell you that Henry Makow is NOT a Christian. He is an ANTICHRIST. He himself admitted that he is "neither Christian nor Jew." But I know from experience that he is not a Christian and hates the Word of God unless it is something he has cherry picked himself to support an article he has written. He posts articles periodically that are purportedly written by a Satanist named "Fozdyke" (which sound strangley to me, like Makow's writing in disguise) but when I counter this "Fozdyke's" luciferian diatribe with the Truth of the Word of God, Makow asks me to "double space" and reduce by 1/3 my already reasonably short rebuttal. Then as if he is mocking me, after I comply to his request, he emails me back and asks me to shorten it by HALF. I just told him to forget it (which was probably what he was going to do all along). The point is, he glorifies the lie of Satan but refuses to print the clear Word of God from a true believer. He is a phony, plain and simple. He, like most everyone else in this world, does what's "right in his own opinion". He could care less about the absolute Truth (Jesus Christ, John 14:6). And he really does detest women, abeit in a loosely disguised way. I would avoid him. He is a false teacher of truth mixed with lies.

Henry Makow is a decent man trying to make a life in Canada. Canada is a modern Socialist, feminist country. I'm a 53 year old Canadian so I remember Canada as a free country with women that were both feminine and charming. We used to dream about them and compose songs about them.
How things have changed. The younger generation has been brought up with these changes and I guess they accept them at least to some degree.
Me, I still see echos of what we once had when I visited China and Tibet last year. So all I have to say is define "your" interpretation of misogyny. If it is feeling nothing for these modern Canadian androgynous she-males then maybe some of us are guilty as charged. I read Mr Makow with a grain of salt. I don't care for jeans or makeup, neither does my spouse expect me to. I don't have to dress in skimpy outfits to get his attention. He likes me as I am, and appreciates what I do for him. A marriage does not have to be based on the act alone. Things lead to this culmination, naturally. All this was foisted on woman to make her flaunt it, not only at home but out of her home. So many women do dress to impress the opposite sex, and they like the attention they get because it makes them feel good, young, attractive. Let's be practical...the end result of a man's attention unless he is gay, is sleeping with a woman in his heart, or by the actual act. How many friendship end up in bed?
On the other hand, a woman can use makeup, it is her right.

I'm sorry, but I have to agree with the individual that asserts that Makow comes off as an individual that looks down on women as a whole. According to his articles, if a female does not look or act as he deems fit, she is a "whore", "unchaste", "gender confused", etc. However, he is entitled to his beliefs and as a whole, I find his site educational and entertaining.

Ron - I've read some of the stories on Makow's site written by young men that are frustrated with the young women of today. I feel sorry for young men that have to go out in the world and try to chose a suitable partner for their life journey. I've got two boys myself and I hope and pray that they can find someone worthy of them that wants to be a wife and a mother and a help-meet instead of sleeping around and partying as much as they can. Today's girls seems to be soul-less creatures who want no part of being married and having children. Our media regularly depicts men as being stupid and incompetent and women as being smart and capable. Our society is definitely topsy-turvy and our children pay the price for the severe lack of morality in society today. I feel so old saying these things although I am in my thirties.
